a) The Scholarship is administered by a Scholarship Administrator
appointed by Australian Solar Timbers.
b) All decisions of the Scholarship Administrator on the award
of the scholarship, eligibility of study and performance projects,
reimbursement of allowances and payments of scholarship moneys
are final and not subject to appeal.
c) The scholarship will be awarded to the winner of the Kendall
National Violin Competition provided his/her project is deemed
appropriate. In cases were the winner of the competition has
not applied for the scholarship or the project is not deemed
appropriate, the judges of the competition may recommend another
finalist to receive the scholarship in lieu of the competition
winner.
d) In order for projects to be deemed appropriate these must
be realistically planned, demonstrate significant benefit to
the artistic development of the applicant and be completed within
24 months of the award of the scholarship.
e) The recipient of the TimberLay International Travel Scholarship
may make significant alterations to the original project only
with the approval of the scholarship administrator.
