After pursuing his musical career for some years in Sydney where he was engaged full-time with the Australian Opera and Ballet Orchestra, Patrick now lives in Melbourne and is a permanent member of the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra.

Hiroaki Yura

HIROAKI YURA
Hiroaki Yura (born July 21, 1981) is a Japanese violinist who is the founder and Artistic Director of the Eminence Symphony Orchestra in Sydney, Australia.

The founder of the Eminence Symphony Orchestra, the Eminence Audio Production company, and a violin virtuoso, Hiroaki has extensive solo experience ranging from recitals to solo concerto performances. He has played for heads of state, international delegates and officials such as Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi, Ambassadors and Consulate Generals to many nations.

Hiroaki has performed with exalted and revered musicians such as Prof. Chikashi Tanaka (violin), Maestro John Harding (violin), Alexev Yemstov (piano), Alexander Gavriluk (piano), and has had a wealth of experiences with top composers around the globe. Hiroaki Yura has performed as a soloist with most of the major Chinese Orchestras including the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra, Hangzhou Symphony Orchestra, and Guangzhou Symphony Orchestra. He has also performed with the Nanjing Symphony Orchestra, Sydney Youth Orchestra, Woollahra Symphony Orchestra, and debuted in Japan with the Japan Philharmonic Orchestra.

Hiroaki has won numerous competition internationally and locally, including the 7th Etoh Toshiya International Violin Competition for Young Violinists, was a prize winner at the Gisbourne International Music Competition in New Zealand, received multiple scholarships to study at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, and has received scholarships with a number of other institutions.
Hiroaki has been critically acclaimed by many leading artists such as Pinchas Zukermann, Salvatore Accardo, and Wanda Wilkomirska.

He now directs all orchestral recording for Interactive Entertainment and Films. Amongst his notable credits are Diablo III, Soul Calibur IV, and The Tower of Druaga: The Aegis of Uruk.  Hiroaki was recently selected to be the Music Supervisor for SOULCALIBUR V.

He is otherwise playing violin for soundtracks.

Victoria Jacono

Victoria Jacono began to play the violin when she was 6 years old. She holds an A-mus-A and L-Mus-A on violin, an A-Mus-A and L-Mus-A on viola and also a Bachelor of Music with honours, from the Australian Institute of Music.

Along with numerous prizes from eisteddfods and competitions all around the country, Victoria was the winner of the National Youth Concerto Competition, the Wenkart Foundation Scholarship, the Marcus Edwards Violin Prize, the Perry Hart Memorial prize, the “International String Player of the year” award at the Gisborne International Music Competition in New Zealand, and the Order of Australia Association Scholarship.

Victoria has enjoyed working with many orchestras; Performing as concert master for the SBS Radio and Television Orchestra, The Young Symphonists orchestra, the International Youth Orchestra in Spain 2001, “ARCO”, Sydney Sinfonia Orchestra and Eminence Symphony Orchestra. As a member of these orchestras, she has performed in Japan, China, Hungary, Austria, The Czech Republic, the Slovak Republic and Spain.

Victoria performs for a number of musical organisations including The Australian Institute of Music, Australian Musician's Academy, the Mostly Mozart Festival, Manly Music Club, the Ryde & Hills District Music Club, The Art Gallery of NSW Concert Series, the St Andrew’s Young Concert Artists Series, Halcyon and Chronology Arts, as well as organising her own performances. Many of these performances have been recorded and broadcast for 2-MBS-FM, ABC Classic FM and Radio NZ. Victoria also regularly performs to help a variety of charity organisations around the country. She has helped raised money through performances for the Exodus Foundation, the Oak Tree Foundation, the SADS foundation, the Malcolm Sargent Cancer Fund for Children and the Oncology Children’s Foundation.

Victoria also enjoys being actively involved in Contemporary and Australian music, she works closely with many Australian composers to commission and help create new compositions, as well as regularly performing and recording new music.

Victoria is also the violinist in the strelitzia piano trio. The trio won the prestigious musica viva chamber music prize in 2009 , and has a concert series alongside an abc classic-fm recording lined up for 2010.
Since 2005, Victoria has been working freelance with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra, the Australian Chamber Orchestra, the Sydney Philharmonia Orchestra, Chronology Arts, Halcyon, Ilythian Ensemble, the Lurline Chamber Orchestra and the Australian Opera and Ballet Orchestra, alongside many performances and recordings for musicals, various pop artists and film productions.

MARSHALL KIM
Marshall is living in Hong Kong and working as a Senior Consultant in Data Strategy and Analytics for a global Advertising Agency (Ogilvy Worldwide) but he plans to return to Australia in the near future! Unfortunately he does not have the opportunity to play his violin much anymore.
